Composition Homework: Irish Jig

Concert Orchestra:
1. This song form is always in 6/8. 
2. Your piece will be in G Major. 
3. Your piece will be 8 measures long. 
4. The rhythm will be:

5. Measures 5 and 6 will be exact melodic copies of 1 and 2. 
6. Include repeat signs at the end of the piece. 

You do not need to start on G. It is preferable to start on a related note like B or D. 
You should end on G to resolve the piece.


Chamber Orchestra:
You will be writing a standard Irish jig.
