Every Wednesday,
you will be assigned a one-octave scale in Smart Music. The scales will follow the Circle of
Fifths. The Circle of Fifths is a sequence of pitches, represented as a circle,
in which the next pitch is found five notes higher than the last.
Each scale will be worth 15 points. The scales will only be available for the week they are assigned. While the scales will be available for 2 additional days after the due date, you will lose 2 points for every day that it is late.
C Major: due 11/12
G Major: due 11/19
D Major: due 11/26
A Major: due 12/3
E Major: due 12/10
B Major: due 12/17
