BBC's Maestro

If only we lived in England...
I would be making you watch BBC's newest reality show "Maestro" on Tuesday nights. Over the course of 6 weeks, eight non-conductors have been vying for a chance to conduct the Last Night of the Proms in London. The show is done live each week and these contestants only have one week to learn some pretty major works.

Unfortunately, you can't even view clips on the BBC website because we aren't UK license holders. But, lucky for you, you can see clips of the conductors on YouTube. Here are the first 33 clips! Pay special attention to Goldie, an English DJ. He is an AMAZING conductor. And, if you want to see a train-wreck (which is always fun!), see David Soul's performance of Adagio for Strings (#22?).
