How to count

I know that some of you are still having problems with counting rhythms. Here are some steps to remember:

Look at the Time Signature:
*the upper number indicates how many beats there are in a measure
*the lower number indicates the note value which represents one beat

In 4/4 (yes, it is a fraction when you write about it), there are four beats in a measure and a quarter note gets one beat. Try these 3 exercises.
Refer to this chart to help you with counting the subdivisions.
