SBO ESSAY CONTEST - School Band & Orchestra Magazine offers students the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship and $1000 in music products for the school's music program through their eighth annual essay contest. The theme of the essay is “Dear Mr. President, I am writing to tell you why music is so important to my complete education.” Essays should be 250 words or less and submitted by December 31, 2007.
