Write an 8 measure melody in the key of C Major (no sharps or flats) using only quarter notes and half notes. Begin and end the piece on C. Title the piece appropriately. Your stand partner must be able to perform it.
This piece must be written using Finale Notepad or other composition software. There is a tutorial for Finale Notepad on the left side of this page.
*In unrelated news, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be on tour this fall and winter. The closest they come to Darien is Mohegan Sun on Sunday, November 11 and Hartford on Sunday, December 9. There are two shows at each location. For more information, visit their link.
